Osho Mokurai Meditation Center is located at 1.600m altitude in the Italian Alps, in the valley region called Val-Maira.

This is a remote location, so it's important that you plan your journey carefully, taking into consideration the amount of time that it will take to travel to Italy and to make your way up and down the mountain.

AIR TRAVEL: 

Look for flights to Milano or Torino
^{Torino is closer to Mokurai, but has less international options and tickets can be more expensive. Milano airport will give you more flight and fare options, and its often the best airport to arrive.}

^{From Milano airport to Mokurai it is about a 4 hour drive.
A door to door transportation service can be arranged with private car or minivan and reliable driver. The cost for this (one way) car service is €400 if paid in cash, if paid  by credit card there is a 10% fee. A minivan would cost a little more, but may be worth if the cost is being shared with multiple people.
As another option you may also choose to travel from Milano by train, In this case you must take a train to Cuneo, which will require a change connection in Torino.}

Here also a car service can be arranged or you can travel up the mountain by taxi.

Our Retreat activities will begin on July 27 at 9:30 am and will conclude on July 31 at 5:30 pm.

Take consideration of the times provided below as you make your travel arrangements. 

Driving distances from Osho Mokurai:
- Milano Airport approx. 4 hours
- Torino Airport approx. 3 hours
- Cuneo Train Station approximately. 1.5 hours

Our retreat will begin on July 7 at 9:30 am and will conclude on July 11 at 5:30 pm.

Here I am offering you a Sample Schedule just to give you an idea of how our days together may flow.
This is not final and will be malleable and subject to change.

We will move in very feminine ways honoring the flow of energy, letting it inform how we move from one activity to the next.

We will be in high mountains, at 1.600 meters altitude, and the weather can be unpredictable and quite variable.

Warm clothes may be needed.
In this type of weather it is best to wear layers of clothing, so you can adapt quickly to these fast variations in temperatures.

Items you may want to consider are, hat for the sun and the cold. Warm socks. Sunglasses.Good waterproof trekking shoes. Light waterproof jacket, or similar.

For our sessions indoors consider light and comfortable clothes.

As this is a women's retreat where we will be connecting with the feminine ways, please consider also flowing clothing, skirts and dresses that are comfortable and make you feel in touch with your femininity, and a sense of pleasure and beauty. 

Having some background in spiritual practice is definitely good, but mostly what is important is that you come with a willingness to participate fully and dive into the depths these practices can bring. 

The intensity of certain alchemical processes can trigger both blissful states and also uncomfortable states. Know that this is all part of the process. You will be held in a safe space.

Please also come ready to move your body, as some of the embodiment practices will be more physically active and vigorous.

No, it is important that we begin together as a group, as we will be building an energetic field and the practices and teachings will be building on each other.

This retreat is an invitation into deep practice, not primarily a vacation.

We will move with flexibility and in feminine ways, and will weave needed rest and integration time within the structure that will be holding the alchemical container of practice.

All participants should be present in all sessions.

Osho Mokurai accommodations are limited and reserved solely for retreat participants. 

The Dakini Garden retreat cannot accommodate children. Our sanctuary will be a place for women to take a break from their routine household responsibilities and allow themselves the space to go into practice. Teenage or young adult daughters who are fully committed and willing  to  participate on all the practices are welcome to register. This could be a beautiful opportunity for mothers and daughters to connect at deeper levels. 

The currency in Italy is Euros.

Please make sure to exchange money at your country of departure, or at the airport before arriving at our location in the mountains. Once at our retreat location there will be no opportunity to exchange money or retrieve cash, as the nearest town is more than 1 hour away.

You will need cash in Euros to pay for the accommodation in Mokurai (€435), you may also need some cash in case we need to rent transportation for any excursions (€50).

In addition, keep in mind that you may need cash for the car service taking you up and down the mountain to avoid credit card fees. The amount you will need for this will depend on your arrival location and if you are sharing the ride or taking it one your own. 

There are no refunds, and you cannot cancel a payment schedule. Please ensure you are fully ready to commit to this retreat in full integrity before joining.

To register for this retreat you have the option to pay the full tuition amount of $695, or a three payment plan.  All Tuition is due in full three weeks before the date of the retreat.

As much as we wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances, please understand that there are expenses we will have incurred, that once paid cannot be refunded.

We strongly encourage you look into purchasing travel insurance if you have concerns.

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. Should you cancel your participation in the retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy outlined here will apply, with no exceptions.

Portals of Akasha cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations. It is important that you fully read and thoroughly understand this, and use your travel insurance arrangements to cover for these unforeseen events.

If you decide to pay with the payment plan offered, the balance will still be due three weeks prior to the immersion. If you do not pay your balance before the retreat you will unfortunately not be permitted to attend. If you desire to pay with a payment plan, please start your first payment as soon as possible so you can space them out. The payment plan will be available until May 6th.

Yes, our host and owner of Osho Mokurai Meditation Center is a man. Videha is a beautiful soul creator and guardian of this beautiful space. He himself is an incredible teacher and spiritual guide, and he holds a beautiful space of reverence and protection of the divine feminine. 

Videha won't be involved in our sessions and these will be held with the participating women only, however he will be involved in ushering us on our day excursions.

Please consider this masculine presence in our retreat a beautiful gift of support, respect and guardianship. We are so blessed to have him hold space for us.
